Community Supported Agriculture consists of individuals who buy in to a farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production.
By purchasing a share of eggs you help Sara get through the hardest part of the year and give 1 dozen eggs every week for 17 weeks from April through July when the ladies are at their peak production. This also cuts out the middle man and gives the farmer more benefit.
By purchasing a share for someone else, you provide a high quality protein to others who may not otherwise have access to it. If you purchase a share to pay it forward it may be directed to a specific individual or left up to Sara to distribute.
